Hello Games never ceases to delight fans of the "endless" space simulator No Man's Sky with unusual updates. The update, called Relics, adds archaeological mechanics to the game. Now mining is paired with another interest - scientific. Wherever you are, on the surface of an uncharted planet or in the depths of the ocean, using a multitool to mine minerals will also allow you to bare the bone remains of prehistoric creatures, and then these skeletons can be displayed at your personal base in the pavilion.

The patch is free to download, like most NMS updates. In it, brave astronauts will have to do archaeology, because in the thickness of the rocks now hidden not only rare earth elements, but also technology, artifacts and skeletons of animals that died out long ago. All of this is designed to diversify the routine with the collection of resources and give gamers a new experience. Bones are often scattered in fragments, so they are to be compiled and placed in special halls, arranged on the base. However, the approach to preparing the exposition here is not quite scientific: the game allows you to assemble any monsters from the found bones, as with some constructor, and not to follow a certain scheme, as it would be in the real work of a paleontologist.

Of course, the exhibition can be shown to other players on the server, and at the same time it is not difficult to look at other people's collections - here you have complete freedom. It is worth bearing in mind that not all finds are easy. Some items have been buried in the soil on purpose and are guarded by guards. But a trophy can be very valuable, so you can get a good price for it at any of the stations. For the rarest finds players will have to fight for them in a new expedition.
