Sword and magic for free in the MMO Warhaven
Nexon Studios has announced that everyone will be able to try out Warhaven for free during the "Next Fest", which will take place on Steam this summer. The game combines a medieval and fantasy setting, and fights in teams of 16. Judging by the trailers and materials from last year's beta testing, the project looks really intriguing.
What can we expect from Warhaven?
The game is created by the South Korean company Nexon, known to fans of MMORPG universe ArcheAge and Dungeon Fighter Online. In their new project, characters can fence, use spells and various technical gizmos - like flying on the mechanical wings and shooting guns. Battles are conducted in teams of 16 people and somewhat reminiscent of For Honor, because here, too, there are the characters of different classes and the crowd under the control of artificial intelligence. But at some point, after gaining enough points, the fighters are able to turn into gods and get superpowers.
It's also known that the game focuses on tactics, and its soundtrack was created by Israeli composer Enon Tsur - he created the music for the Dragon Age, EverQuest and Fallout series. The Steam Next Fest which will open free access to Warhaven, will take place from July 19 to 26 this year. About any additional conditions for participation, other than adding the novelty to the list of desirable, the developers have not reported.
