The developers of Foxhole multiplayer military simulator have announced a major addition to Naval Warfare, which will move combat from land to water. As in the rest of the game, members of naval teams will assign roles to each other and get access to different systems - from the engine compartment to the captain's cabin. Along with fleets, regions, campaigns, and supply chains will be added to the game. The update is scheduled for release on October 26 this year.

The game rages a never-ending war, designed in the style of World War II, and each of the thousands of soldiers on the battlefield is controlled by a live user. Some are just infantry, others join crews to control vehicles, some build defensive fortifications, some are engaged in maintenance, some work in logistics and supplying armies - there are a lot of roles here. From the end of the month, a few more will be added to them, because ships need mechanics, navigators, gunners, radar and sonar specialists, as well as other useful characters.

The fleet is promised to make a variety. There will be large destroyers and small patrol boats, submarines, landing and cargo transport. It will be possible, for example, to deliver from sea to shore artillery battery and attack the enemy from unexpected positions. Or open a new supply line for ground troops by water. Each ship will also be divided into segments, which will be allowed to be damaged individually - a successful shot will take out an engine or cannon, or even flood the hold.

In addition, there will be regions with ports and docks, so that the parties to the conflict to prepare there to invade enemy territory and defense of their borders. And along with the Navy, Naval Warfare will feature new tractors, self-propelled guns, ballistic missiles, and three types of trailers for delivering supplies - resources, construction materials, and fuel.
