Fortnite has a new mode

Epic Games employees have released another patch for their "battle royale" Fortnite. In it gamers are waiting for competitions on new terrain, "Reload" mode for forty participants, weapon collections and rewards for victory. The peculiarity of the added matches is that the squad continues to operate as long as at least one of its members is alive. We tell you more about these and other changes.

The fresh mode is designed for squads, whose individual members are able to revive as long as at least one character from the team is active. It works like this: after the death of the hero starts the timer of his return to the battlefield - initially the pause is 30 seconds, then grows to 40. Partners can speed up the countdown if they damage any of the enemies. And if they destroy an enemy group, the timer will be shortened by 10 seconds. On the other hand, anyone is free to start the revival process, having received a serious wound. In general, shootouts are designed for high dynamics. Therefore, they should take place on a small location - this is the map added to the game.

The island is notable for its trading square and high towers in the central part, where the most active battles should take place. Like "Zero Height", "Reload" brings in the winner's crowns in case of success. It also earns the "Summer Pool" wrap, the "Banana Bath" back ornament and the "Seasoning" hang glider. The arsenal in the new battles is the most classic: there are sawed-off shotguns, rifles, RPGs, revolvers, lever-action shotguns, heavy machine guns and sniper weapons.
