Superfluous gestures and taming beasts in Fortnite
Epic Games employees prepared two updates for their game Fortnite. The first one is related to the expression of emotions in the "battle royale". And the second is dedicated to the LEGO universe, where you can now domesticate chickens, cows and pigs, build enclosures for them and protect them from predators. Also in the patch "Farmer's idyll" gamers are waiting for styles, characters, buildings and other bonuses. We tell in detail what happens to the project in the spring of 2024.

The developers have added the "see confrontational emotes" parameter to the main "battle royale". The thing is that some players find unpleasant and even offensive animations like "Laughing your ass off", "Banana for everyone" or "Admitting defeat". To avoid seeing such expressions of feelings from your opponents, simply check the box in the "Social Privacy" menu. In this case, you will still have access to any gestures, and the opponent will be able to continue to do whatever he wants, but he will be the one to watch it.
On the other hand, in LEGO-space there are changes related to the domestication of animals. If you want to settle in your possessions of some cow, first you need to feed it, and then build a stable for it, give it a name and take care of it in every possible way. Livestock is useful for creating items: sheep, for example, can be used for wool and fertilizer, chickens give you feathers, and pigs look for mushrooms. Five new residents of the village - from musician Brooks to engineer Lana Lane - lend a helping hand to the heroes. But not all creatures are equally useful - don't let bears near your pets, otherwise you'll have problems. Of course, along with the patch, you'll get the appearance settings for the beasts and blueprints for farm buildings.
