Australia's flag has been raised over War Thunder
Gaijin Entertainment has announced that until February 3 this year, the online military combat game, War Thunder, has Australia Day. It was over this continent on January 26, 1788 that the British raised their banner - and in the future, the Australian authorities chose this date as a holiday. To celebrate it in their own way, the developers released a trailer from the "Moments of Valor" series, prepared a set of vehicles "Through Thorns to Stars" and provided a discount on all vehicles from this southern country.
What to do in War Thunder in January?
First of all, let's talk about the premium equipment, which was included in the assortment of the online store. The list includes two models of Boomerang fighter aircraft from World War II with additional camouflage, as well as Wirraway aircraft, English Spitfire LF Mk.IXc of the fourth rank and Catalina Mk. IIIa. In addition, you can buy an export tank from the U.S. Grant I of the second rank. Owners of the set are also entitled to the title "Through Thorns to Stars" and a portrait for the profile "Corporal Jumping", depicting, of course, a kangaroo in military uniform with the familiar Union Jack and the constellation of the Southern Cross on his shoulder. If you happen to already own all of the above techniques, the title and portrait will be given to you for free.
As for the rest of the promotional machines, they too can be purchased at a 50% discount. A separate item is the "Australia Day 2025" award decal. To earn it, you need to take part in three matches on British vehicles of the third rank and above until the 3rd day of the next month. All battle formats are eligible, with the exception of assaults and the "Confrontation" mode.
