A major Final Fantasy XIV update is on the way

Square Enix employees organized a presentation dedicated to their famous MMORPG. Among other things, they showed an update called Dawntrail, announced the release on Microsoft consoles, as well as various improvements, including a graphics upgrade, and a series of patches designed to make changes to literally every aspect of the game. We tell you in detail how the project will change in the coming months.

First of all, the developers announced the content of a series of updates with serial numbers from 6.5 to 7.0. The first one, Growing Light, will start a large-scale storyline, which will be continued in the next additions. Additional quests are also planned, including crafting quests and the addition of themed rewards. There will also be a raid for the alliance with the tropical island of Aloalo, the passage of which is designed for three levels of difficulty. It is known that Square Enix is preparing significant changes in PvP and PvE-activities.

As for Dawntrail, that is update 7.0, its release is expected in a year - in the summer of 2024. In it, users will have access to the desert region of Tural, inspired by Native American culture, where cities full of characters will be built. Two professions will appear, focused on those who use magic in battles, and the maximum level of heroes pumping will rise from 90 to 100. And all gamers, of course, can look forward to more dungeons, raids, bosses and item collections. Finally, the producer of the game announced plans to improve the graphics - during the year it is going to be brought up to the modern standards of the genre.
