Thermopylae in Conqueror's Blade
The developers of the tactical MMO game about armies and battles of the past, Conqueror's Blade, continue the development of the Spartan theme. The project has recently launched the PvP event "Thermopylae", dedicated to the most dramatic events of the Greco-Persian wars. Gamers are divided into two teams - attackers and defenders. The first have to overcome the walls in the famous gorge and get through the Anopean trail, and the second - to destroy the plans of opponents. Booming Tech studio also presented a new mode, construction and reported on the work on bugs.
About Conqueror's Blade's first update in 2025
Especially for recreating the feat of 300 Spartans was made a map divided into several locations, including the road, the temple and the fortress wall. It's hard to storm the fortifications head-on, but you can bypass the defenders' positions along a secret path. In the final (third) stage of the match, the heroes take the defense on the top of the hill near the columns. Since the Persians are having a hard time attacking, they can use skills like "Fire Arrows" - these are here instead of trebuchets. On the other hand, there is a risk of stumbling on a cliff and disappearing into the abyss of the sea. During matches, both sides earn event points, which can be exchanged for rewards until January 26. The point limit is 400, and it resets to zero on Thursdays.
The "Confrontation of Warriors" mode is now available in territory contests. This is a 15-on-15 battle where any of the Houses attacks a fort. You can choose a target only according to your status - for example, only heroes with the rank of junior lieutenant of the legion can take away a fort from the legionaries. In turn, leaders, their deputies, as well as marshals and treasurers of Houses can now build a possession called "Armories Depot", which can hold up to 40 items. A total of up to three such buildings are allowed per domain, and they cost 100,000 treasury coins.
