Medieval Blacksmith breaks into Evil Dead: The Game

The developers of Evil Dead: The Game recently released a teaser with the new character. It became the anonymous Smith, familiar to fans of the "Evil Dead" universe from the film "Army of Darkness". The abilities and characteristics of this fighter are still unknown - except that his cinematic prototype acted on Ash's side against the undead. But we can say something about his appearance in the game.

The new character is due to appear with the October update of Hail to the King, the first season pass. We know about the cinematic Blacksmith from 1992's Army of Darkness, played by Timothy Quill, that he forged Ash a mechanical prosthetic arm. Since the movie is set in the medieval era, it speaks to the exceptional talent of the craftsman. The smith also took part in the defense of the castle when it was besieged by infernal hordes, but the script is silent on his later fate. However, he is mentioned in the comic book adaptation of Army of Darkness, as well as in the mobile game Army of Darkness Defense.

In Evil Dead: The Game, a fresh hero will naturally join the ranks of the good guys. The game, in case you are not aware of it, offers one gamer to take control of the otherworldly forces, and a team of others - to repel the attacks of the undead. In addition to the Blacksmith, characters from the third movie in the series "Evil Dead" have already appeared in the action game, but they all had a name and a more or less detailed biography.
