The dragon cycle, which took a whole ten years to develop, comes to an end for good in the MMORPG Guild Wars 2. It is being replaced by a new round of the story - Secrets of the Obscure. While the update is just getting ready for release, the game's chief scriptwriter made an address to the public, in which he spoke about the peculiarities of the next story development and at the same time about what to expect from ArenaNet's work this summer. It was also revealed that unusual looks for boats and other items will be released on July 28.

The global cataclysm shown in End of Dragons is nearing its end, but Tyria is still full of interesting places and stories. The upcoming update will be devoted to a more detailed study of these lands. And everything will begin with revealing the secrets of the Wizard's Tower, where once lived a powerful sorcerer named Isgarren, but now only shadows of the past dwell. Many brave men have laid down their heads trying to storm the walls of this fortification, but now the mystery of the tower will be solved. The game's writers hint at the appearance of a new faction that will challenge the heroes, and at the same time prepare the location for group raids and missions for the return of Zoe, a character familiar from the Heart of Thorns add-on.

ArenaNet will pay special attention to the main opponents of peaceful Tyria - monstrous Cryptis. According to official data, gamers will be able to delve into the plots of the war, which lasts for thousands of years. And to make it more interesting, already from this Friday everyone will buy in the virtual store an unusual look of a boat for traveling on the seas. There is also a 20% discount on the skins "Dragon Spirit", "Ringing Battle Horn" and "Amethyst Aegis".
