Embers Adrift can now be played without a subscription

Employees of Stormhaven announced that they cancel the mandatory subscription for all users of their developed MMORPG. However, the monthly payments of $ 10 will remain - for such fee gamers will receive some bonuses. And it's enough for newcomers now to make a one-time payment to get access to all the content. In other words, the project is being sold within the most usual business model.

The game is made for hardcore fans of the genre: its rules resemble the classic D&D, and most quests cannot be completed alone - you will definitely need a team of friends. Virtual world, in turn, is organized according to the principles of "sandbox": you can go anywhere and fight with whomever you want - the freedom of PvP battles is everywhere beyond the boundaries of settlements. Naturally, such a project quickly found its audience. Except that the original distribution model did not justify itself, so the developers decided to switch to a more intuitive way - the one-time purchase.

For ordinary residents of the servers this means cancellation of regular fees. But for those who are willing to continue contributing money, some advantages are provided. They will receive an additional hero slot, a full set of characters and their specializations, a separate channel in the general chat, unique titles, a special crafting station and a healing bonus. The latter will act not only on the player-controlled fighter, but also on nearby allies.
