Drones and automatic turrets appeared in Rust
Facepunch studio announced the features of the patch for the multiplayer survival simulator Rust. Among other things, users will receive drones for reconnaissance, fixed video recorders, turrets, as well as some very interesting features - for example, will be able to receive a signal from the game's surveillance systems on their smartphones. Read more about these and other changes.
Important details about Rust: Eye In The Sky
The March patch, dubbed Eye In The Sky, is dedicated to equipment that a team of gamers can use when defending their base and storming an enemy one. A camera-equipped drone will allow you to scout the situation and uncover enemy ambushes, and C4 explosives will be useful for demolition of fortifications. To blow something up, you have to set the bomb and radio transmitter to the same frequency, then set the former on any surface and send a command from the latter. Or, alternatively, set a 5-second delay on the detonator. The developers also added to the arsenal of the side holding the defense. Defenders of makeshift fortresses and huts will be helped by rotating security cameras and automatic turrets.
Some of the features are worth talking about separately. First of all, the ability to receive a signal from the game tracking systems on your smartphone, which will have to install additional software from the App Store or Google Play. It is known that this option is now in alpha version, so its stability is not guaranteed, but the solution is still interesting. The update also offers some other changes, including an updated filter for finding items, improved layout of modules when constructing buildings and a machine that allows you to create a queue for the assembly of four blueprints at once.
