Destiny 2: Lightfall trailer and details

Bungie has released several videos devoted to the Lightfall update, which will be released very soon - on February 28. The public is introduced to the story trailer: it turns out, we will have a fight with the very enemy, from which the Wanderer has been running so long. And since the sphere hovering over the Earth helped mankind to survive, the "Vanguard" fighters must protect their ally at any cost. But will they be able to defeat the most dangerous enemy in the game's universe?

Each new multiplayer add-on confronts the heroes with a different kind of enemy. For example, in The Witch Queen, the warriors of the Shining Swarm act as such antagonists. But this time gamers will fight with the main villain of the galaxy - the Witness. It is known that he is able to control the Darkness, and even caused its emergence. Also because of him the first collapse happened and the Wanderer ran away from him into Earth's orbit. The fight is going to be awesome, especially since the bad guy won't be in the solar system alone, but in the company of Kalus, the former ruler of the Cabal Empire.

It is Kalus, as the servant of the Witness, who leads the Black Fleet, whose invasion must be stopped in a series of first-person battles. What will the Guardians of the Earth be able to counter this aggression? In Lightfall, user-controlled characters will receive a superpower, which the developers call Thread. It is essentially combat magic, and all the related skills, whether it's claws, shields, or a cat-hook piercing enemies, are easily recognized by the bright green color.
