Nowhere to fight? Counter-Strike 2 fixes the problem

The authors of the online shooter CS2 from Valve have opened access to the map workshop and its commercial use. This means that anyone is free to create their own location for the game, publish it and even earn money, if someone is interested in their work. One of the first samples presented by Russian developers - "Deptrans Moscow" will be the battlefield for the first Counter-Strike 2 tournament in the country, which will be held from November 11 to 12 this year.

One of the problems of the action movie on release was a small selection of territories where the opposing teams could find out the relationship. There are only ten maps for all modes. And although there is no doubt that Valve employees will eventually expand the choice of locations, ordinary users can do it from now on. Who knows, if it is your work that the public will like? Along with that, the developers released a small patch that fixes the interface, notification system, textures and palette - for example, there are shiny and rough types of surfaces. The core of the update was work on bugs - like those when weapons fell through the floor and disappeared when moving from one round to another.

One of the first (if not the first) custom map was presented by the participants of the Big Cybersport League. "Deptrans Moscow" consists of two levels of the fictional "Cybersportnaya" metro station. On the top there is a bus depot, and on the bottom - a subway decorated with signs, where there is even a place for a model of a new electric train, with which you can familiarize yourself in detail. This is where the battles of the first Russian championship will be fought in November, and then the location will become available to everyone.
