Conqueror's Blade, a tactical MMO game about the battles of medieval warriors, will soon feature more units inspired by Chinese history. Selectable fighters will include crossbowmen with feathers on their armor, palace guards, and the heavy cavalry of the Tang Dynasty, which established its power in the 7th century. The folks at My.Games are promising pre-order bonuses for the Dragonrise Battle Pass, and they're listing March 21 as its release date. Let's find out more about what the update will bring.

The update itself will be free, like the rest of the game, but you'll have to pay for a battle pass to access quests and rewards. And if you pre-order, you can also get an old parchment, a couple of "Glorious Sovereign" texts, training orders and 50,000 copper coins. Also for premium accounts will be available alternative looks of heroes from the collections "Snow Falcon", "Tiger Battalion" and "New Dawn". The latter, however, is open only at the hundredth rank. The first is crossbowmen in light armor, equipped with swords in addition to the main weapon. They are three-star fighters: they are not very effective in a fight, but as a support they can show themselves quite well. Wuwei's four-star palace guards serve as a reliable guard for their commander, making it difficult for the enemy to break through their formation. Heavy cavalry in xuan jia acts as an elite unit, able to develop an attack against infantry and very stable in defense. The Eastern-style army can be brought to the revised map "Silent Outpost", where there will be more strongholds.
