A girl with a hammer beats monsters in Black Desert

Pearl Abyss has unveiled a new heroine for its MMORPG Black Desert. Although Scolaria looks like a fragile young lady with Harry Potter-style glasses on her nose, her favorite weapon is a hammer, which she hurls at enemies, and at the same time uses gravity to attack them and deliver powerful blows to the area. That's not a good one to mess with. We tell you more about the newly added class.

It's no coincidence that the heroine looks like a student of some magical academy - she really studied sciences, mastered the secrets of physics and alchemy to subdue the forces of nature. She has invested all her knowledge in hammers, which she controls not through athleticism, but through intelligence and gravitational technology. These weapons are made of gold, obtained by accelerating particles and adding a dash of magic. So, having defeated the Black Death, the girl goes to the fabulous world of BDO to become a character of a unique class under your control.

Scholar's abilities are several. With the Nucleus Setter, she throws a hammer forward - and at the point of impact, it creates an area of increased gravity that can stun enemies. Another skill creates a shockwave out of gravity, dealing damage as she moves through the terrain. "Overcoming the Limit" is a heavy attack that injures all enemies around it. In "Anti-Gravity Jump", the lady herself acts as a projectile - jumping up and crashing down on the heads of opponents. Golden Lightning" and "Hammer Flight" combos complete the set of talents, when one weapon is deflected by the other as if it were a baseball.
