A new map has been added to BattleBit Remastered
The team of independent developers has updated their project to version 2.1.9. The action game, which looks like a simplified game from the Battlefield series and became a hit unexpectedly for everyone, received a Kodiak location inspired by Alaskan landscapes, increased bonuses for completing trials, bug fixes and UI fixes. Since the patch has already been uploaded to the servers, it's time to talk about it in detail.
What's changing in BattleBit Remastered version 2.1.9?
First of all, let's discuss the map. Kodiak is a battlefield with a great variety of landscapes: there are urban areas, forest with hills, and even industrial buildings. On the outskirts of the location you can see a power plant and a port, and there are also six respawn points for the two fighting teams. From the power plant towards the center underground is a bomb shelter - this is the way for surprise attacks and protection from snipers. The developers note that the map is designed for infantry combat, but if you want, you can use vehicles in some parts of the map.
In addition to expanding the geography, the reward for weekly trials has grown. Experience points are still awarded for them, but now their number is 250 000 - against 100 000 of the previous ones. There are also a lot of useful fixes in the game. In particular, grenades no longer cause damage through walls, soldiers' heads do not shine through the textures of helmets, and the blue filter on the screen has stopped appearing. Tactical actions were also affected - the patch fixed a bug where you could open the menu of bandaging your teammate when he is actually out of reach for treatment.
