The authors of Marvel Rivals released a trailer and showed off the characters

There are a few days left until the release of the superhero multiplayer action game Marvel Rivals from NetEase. On this occasion the developers have released the last pre-release video, which shows the characters, about which no one reported earlier. It also became known that the game will be available for pre-download on PC on December 4 - you can download it in Steam store for free. But console users will have to wait a couple more days before the official release.

Dozens of characters known from Marvel comics have already been announced for the game. Some of them, including the Hulk and Spider-Man, were known in advance. But several fighters were shown only now. A pleasant surprise for fans was the appearance of Wolverine and Black Widow in the trailer. Those who have little interest in geek culture may find Squirrel Girl unfamiliar. Her story was invented in the early 1990s by Steve Ditko, who had a long association at Marvel Comics with Stan Lee himself. In the game, the heroine shoots enemies with a slingshot and throws huge acorns at them.

Iron Fist has a longer history. He appeared in the pages of the Premier series in 1974. Created by Roy Thomas and Gil Kane, the character uses techniques from Eastern martial arts in combat. In 2017, Netflix made a TV series about him, and now this character is available in Rivals. It makes sense that in the game he also kicks and punches enemies with his hands and feet, and also puts an impenetrable block and heals himself with the help of chi energy.
