In the covenants of Fallout: a new MMORPG about the end of the world presented
Tokyo Game Show this year brought a lot of surprises, and one of the most interesting was the announcement of the multiplayer thriller Ashfall, which takes place after a global catastrophe. The game is designed in the style of the classics of the genre, including Fallout, as evidenced by the published trailer. Let's look into this project in more detail.
Asian-style apocalypse in Ashfall
The main feature of the game is its design - it is an Eastern post-apocalypse, not a Western one, as in the Fallout series. This affects everything, from the appearance of the characters to the design of signage in the settlements. The plot of the story is as follows: in the future, an artificial intelligence rebelled against humanity and started a nuclear war, as a result of which the familiar world was destroyed. The hero comes to himself inside the Sanctuary and must go in search of an artifact called the Core of Creation to save civilization with its help. Reminds you of something, doesn't it? Only in Ashfall there are many such heroes, and they all take part in battles of different formats - both PvE and PvP.
The developers promise a collaborative exploration of the wastelands, a rich role-playing experience with a detailed character editor, resource extraction, epic battles and, of course, exciting adventures together with friends. It is known that the project employs genre veterans John Garvin and Michael Mumbauer. No one has called the exact release date, but the page on Steam indicates the year 2023.
