Apex Legends has begun "Uprising" in Apex Legends

Respawn Entertainment has unveiled a new mode for its "battle royal" Apex Legends. In it, players are divided into two teams, living heroes and mechanical ones, to fight until one side wins. The Uprising event also offers a set of 24 cosmetic items, the Lycanthrope Legend look, a damage increase of one and a half times, and other rewards. The developers report that the activity will launch in several stages - and the prizes in each of them are special.

The "Uprising" mode is a 30-on-30 battle format, where one team must get across the map to the evacuation point, and the other, consisting of Revenants, must prevent the opponents from reaching the goal. All heroes from the first squad are under the control of live players, while in the army of machines there is only one user, and the rest are robots under the control of the AI. However, this player is able to command a horde of machines and receives high-level loot from the start, such as red shields and cannons. If at first the legends are outnumbered, then it becomes more and more difficult for them to get out of the location, because their defeated comrades become zombies and switch to the enemy's side.

The event will be available four times during the winter. The schedule is as follows: from December 5 to December 11, then from the 15th to the 18th, from the 22nd to the 25th and, finally, from December 29 to January 1, 2024. In other words, the showdown between humans and androids will take place on weekends and holidays, including New Year's Eve. Depending on the stage, the rewards will also change. These include various character boosts, a collection of jewelry items, and two Lycanthrope appearances for Loba.
