Apex Legends features new battles and a new character

Respawn Studios has unveiled the "Upheaval" patch for its multiplayer action game Apex Legends. In it, players will be introduced to a guest from other worlds, able to move herself and her friends from one point to another, with the map "Split Moon" and single-player battle mode in the Outer Lands. In addition, the developers offer gamers to use customizable artifacts that can make the heroes even stronger.

The single mode, according to the developers, was a variation of the "Alone" format from the beginning of the season. It is available from May 7 to June 24, and there will be seen whether to leave it for good. Also breaking into the "battle royale" is Alter, the Void Splitter. The girl is, to put it bluntly, unusual. She came to the Apex games from other worlds, taking with her only technology that helps her to search any containers from a distance and take one item of her choice from them. She also uses the Void Passage technique, which opens portals in walls or ceilings. However, if the heroine or her companions pass through this door, they will be in a special phasing state for a while.

On "Splintered Moon", Respawn's staff is particularly notable for several key locations, including the Quarantine Zone, the Disposer's Wharf, the Spaceport, the Solar Batteries, and the Laboratory. What makes the map special is its fantastic scenery, with rocky plateaus and fragments of a stellar body hanging in the sky, disintegrated by gravity. As for the upgraded artifacts, they represent an element of personalization, that is, the customization of fighters. After unlocking the "Qatar" knife in the "Shadow Community" mission, it will be possible to upgrade it with the components collected in matches - up to the "Nitride" level.
