Updating fights and costumes in Apex Legends

Respawn Entertainment has announced the launch of the Shadow Society event in Apex Legends, which will run until April 16. In it, users will get a temporary "Assault" mode, a steampunk themed collection of external looks, a set of rewards from the virtual store and a melee artifact. Also, some heroes have slightly changed characteristics and abilities. We tell you about the features of the patch in more detail.

The events of Assault mode will unfold on the maps Thunderdome, Skull City, Zeus Station and Monument. According to the rules, four teams must race to take control of the capture zones that appear at random points in the locations. The first team to score 500 points wins. The Cobalt Cathar, an artifact and knife that can be used by all legends, will help participants in these competitions. And 36 items from the Shadow Society collection will complement the fighters' style. To get them, you need to complete the event stages one by one. Also, for completing 5, 10, 20 and other stages, everyone gets additional prizes.

Changes have been made to the heroes as well. Ballistics removed "Bulletwizard", Bangalore increased the recharge time of "Thunderclaps", Kaustic increased the damage from gas by one unit per beat. The balance of Pathfinder, Revenant, Bangalore, Conduit, Ciara and Wraith was also slightly tweaked. The list of bug work included replacing sounds associated with EVO builders, as well as another fix for issues with graphics, animations, and the game crashing to the desktop when using certain weapons.
