"Revelry" begins on February 14 at Apex Legends

The developers of "battle royale" Apex Legends announced that since February 14, the game will start a new season called "Revelry". And while the world will be celebrating Valentine's Day, users of the action game from the studio Respawn Entertainment will be able to hammer in a team deathmatch, try out the energy rifle "Revenge" and choose their style of combat with five redesigned classes.

Team Deathmatch mode, previously undergoing a three-week testing period, will now remain in the game forever. In addition to it will appear the so-called "Collector", which will shuffle three different battle formats, including "Weapon Race" and "Control" - the developers believe this is a good training for the gamer of any level. And to spur training for newcomers, the shooting range has been improved with moving dummies. Also, the Legends arsenal will be updated with the energy weapon "Revenge", designed to compete with the assault rifle "Flatline".

One of the main changes is a redesigned class system. the game's 23 heroes will be given one of five specializations: attack, reconnaissance, control, clash and support. Each of these is accompanied by a single strong bonus, so that matchmakers immediately understand what style of combat they need to apply with a particular class. Finally, all are entitled to fourth-anniversary entry rewards and combat pass prizes.
