A new shooter from the developers of PUBG has been announced
Krafton Publisher and PUBG Corporation studio don't even think about resting on their laurels, having exploited the same action game for years. Recently Project ARC shooter was announced, which is quite different from what both companies did before. The action here is shown from the top view, there are no "royal battles", and the tactics are based on the field of vision, common to the whole team: what one squad member sees, the others also notice. This is reminiscent of XCOM strategies, only here everything takes place in real time, not step-by-step.
What is known about Project ARC at this point?
The matches in the game are based on the confrontation of two teams of five heroes each. Their weapons vary from fists and pistols to sniper rifles. Each character also has a field of vision: even if you know in advance how the level is organized, you won't notice the enemy until he gives himself away or appears in your line of sight. Once an enemy is spotted by one member of the team, he can be picked up by the others. The main task of one group is to hack into the Crypt and install a decryptor in it, then build fortifications around it and take advantageous positions so that the enemy won't get in the way. The other squad, in turn, must repel the Crypt and install their decryptor in it. Whoever stays on the point longer wins.
What's still interesting about the online action game is the specialization of the characters. They are not the same - they have unique traits, skills and attachment to this or that type of weapon. Or to gadgets, because in Project ARC you can use different gadgets, including drones for attacking enemies and reconnaissance. The release date and system requirements of the game have not been announced yet, but you can already add it to your Steam store wish list.
