What is known about Order of Renewal at this moment?
The game takes place in a gloomy world where monsters roam the ruined villages, bandits roam the roads and pestilence is rampant. You need to take control of the hero who can restore order in this kingdom-state. Or plunge it into more chaos. R-Team promises procedural generation of levels and enemies, that is, no one will know in advance what is waiting behind the next turn. Also stated story system with asymmetrical goals of characters on the map - they depend on the goals and choices of each gamer. Battles will be of different formats: both PvP and PvE, and the average duration of a game session will be 10-30 minutes.
The key gameplay feature will be a combat system with full control of shield and sword. Handling the former is due to the fact that you have to manually cover those parts of the hero's body that you want to protect. And each weapon has a certain piercing power, inertia and other physical properties. Among other things, the blade can bounce off metal objects and get stuck in leather or wood. At the same time, there are realistic damage mechanics: there's nothing stopping you from wounding your opponent in the arm or leg to slow him down and then easily finish the job.
