Guild Wars 2 add-on announcement

The developers of the popular MMORPG Guild Wars 2 presented to the public the next major DLC, which will be released on August 20. In it gamers will go to the Jantir Islands, full of dangers and strange creatures. The list of changes includes a new storyline with quest rewards and talking bears, personal estate development, riding a giant cat and battles in PvP-mode, about which little is known yet. Fans are in for a major update: after August 20, additional story chapters and content portions will be released throughout the year. The DLC will take place on the Jantir Archipelago, where you can find the ruins of the Mursaats, explore the heritage of astral mages and meet the inhabitants of the Kodan colony. Three maps with unique stories on each will take center stage. Players will explore two areas to unlock a third, then help the Kodans form an alliance and unlock a manor where the hero will rest after his exploits. The manor is linked to the user's account and will progress through the corresponding skill branch.

In Janthir Wilds will appear a rich selection of spears, including legendary types of these weapons. And also give a ride on a cat (warclo) with updated features - from the fact that the furry will be allowed to call at any time, not only for the battle of the servers, and ending with the customization of the appearance of the horse. Finally, a unique PvP-mode is promised, which is created on the basis of gamers' wishes. What exactly it is, it is still unknown. Those who pre-order the add-on will receive the title "Settler", the "Whispering Serpent Shoulder" look and a box with one of the "Wrath of the Serpent" weapon skins of your choice.
