Pumpkins are ripe in Albion Online

The developers of MMORPG Albion Online have announced a month of The Harvest Challenge, timed to coincide with the fall season and Halloween. Throughout October, users must participate in activities, earn points and open chests with rewards. Among the main prizes for participation are a flying ghostly pet, a themed avatar frame and interior items for personal dwelling in the virtual world. What else do the folks at Sandbox Interactive have to offer us?

Like last year, gamers will perform tasks in the open world and get points for it, which gives the right to open special chests. One of them contains a pet of the seventh level - Ghost Bat. Not everyone who wanted to get it last time, so the beast is back now. It has a unique ability to teleport its owner to wherever he tells it to go in the blink of an eye, but it can't overcome obstacles and gaps, just like other riding creatures in the game. Other prizes included a bone avatar frame, books, silver, pumpkin lanterns, a scarecrow, and a bonfire.

You don't need to do any special tasks to gain points - you just need to cultivate a vegetable garden in your estate, fish, gather or hunt. Those who want to get even more rewards can invite a friend through a referral link in their account until the end of October.
