Albion Online celebrates its sixth anniversary

MMORPG Albion Online was launched back in the summer of 2017. Since then, the game has accumulated many achievements, which the employees of Sandbox Interactive list in their address to the public. At the same time, they remind about the current events, give out gifts and share plans for the development of the project, including the announcement of new mechanics. We tell you in details what the public will remember the sixth anniversary of "Albion".

First of all, the game authors share their creative achievements. The "Living Legends" event, when heroes fight against the statues of champions, is held in the virtual world for the second year in a row, and the "In the Darkness of Ages" update continues to be popular among gamers. Thanks to constant development, Sandbox Interactive's project has collected several awards, including a "Best PvP" award from MassivelyOP, given out in 2022, and inclusion in Rock, Paper, Shotgun's "30 Best Games for Steam Deck" list, as well as a spot in the isometric MMO rankings.

In the number of significant events developers record and the opening of "Eastern Albion", which was widely advertised in Asia and led to some records. In particular, the inhabitants of the server in just six weeks collected about two billion units of resources, made almost 12 million kills in PvP mode and caught 54.5 million fish in the reservoirs. On the occasion of the anniversary, players are promised special gifts, participation in a cake-eating party and some virtual bonuses - for example, a new werewolf weapon. The developers also promised to add more mechanics to their project, but what kind of mechanics, they have not yet specified.
