Developers MMORPG Albion Online shared with the public plans for the development of the project until 2024. Among other things, gamers are waiting for new events and improvements to existing systems, and the main driver of change was the opening of the Asian server "East Albion" in March. Roadmap items were briefly described by Sandbox Interactive director Robin Henix - let's look at his report in more detail.

What's in store for Albion Online in the near future?

Soon, Spring Rites will return to the game, similar to last year's activity, but with additions to the enemy ranks. There will also be an add-on patch "In the Gloom of Ages", which contains improvements to the interaction with the Mglah and other mechanics, including "Dungeons in the Mglah" - about this event employees at Sandbox Interactive have promised to tell later. And also, of course, the public will get a lot of different content. The development strategy of the project, judging by the official statements, is based on the simplification of some basic mechanics: the actions of users in the game market, resource extraction, and crafting.

But that is not all the changes outlined in the roadmap. During the year 2023 there will be a new branch of weapons for the class Hunter, there will be expanded options for equipment under the system "You - what you wear," and also add a legendary weapon. In fact, any high-level item can be made legendary simply by using it. Along with the assignment of such a status will appear and the naming function - and the sword will be given any name of the player's choice. Finally, features of the landscape such as altitude differences will have a greater impact on the effectiveness of magic.
