Running, by itself, is boring. Everything changes when you see an opponent in front of you. It gets more interesting. You want to be first, no matter what, so you have to sweat. And what if your efforts, will cause you to smile and even laugh. Because it's not you who's in charge in this race, but the road to it.
The ribbon at the finish line is swinging in the wind, you are serious, so are your rivals. My advice to you before future races is to relax. And after a few falls, you'll understand exactly why it's a "fun" race.
Run, Forrest! Run!
You're already at the start, packed and ready to win. Nearby, two more competitors are warming up, and set to win as much as you. The start, your hero takes the lead. You think, "come, see, win" will work easily. You are mistaken. The road to the finish line and is not going to assist you. Objects along the way, will test your patience. They arise, they disappear, they move in different directions. You can't read them. So, running in a straight line at full speed is not our story.
