"Asteroids" Game

Fight your way through fields of deadly asteroids and alien warships to become the richest and most powerful shooter in the history of space. Work your way to the top of the hard crystal mining business as you travel across the galaxy and collect the treasures of space. Upgrade your ship as you rise through the intergalactic ranks, and gain a force to be reckoned with by your opponents. The goal of Asteroids is to destroy asteroids and saucers. The player controls a triangular ship that can rotate left and right, shoot straight ahead and move forward. Once the ship starts moving in a certain direction, it will continue moving in that direction for a while without player intervention, unless the player applies thrust in the other direction. The player can also send the ship into hyperspace, causing it to disappear and reappear at a random location on the screen with the risk of self-destruction or appearing on top of an asteroid.
