"Balance Wars" Game

Balance Wars is a fascinating game designed for 2 players, but you can also play alone. It is a 2D application with minimal graphics, but no less interesting. Players are located on a platform that is over water or lava. Opponents stand opposite each other with weapons in their hands. Controls for player #1: to jump, press the space bar; to shoot, press the "W" button. Controls for player #2: to jump, use the "?" button; to fire a shot, press "L". The difficulty is slightly chaotic character movement if you try to jump for a bonus in the form of a "B" sign, for example.
