Game description

Night is considered one of the most suitable periods to investigate mysterious crimes, long forgotten. Your car obviously agrees with this completely, because it suddenly stopped and doesn't want to start, and there is only some incomprehensible building near you, making you sad. At first you do not even understand, whether someone lives in the house or it has long been left without inhabitants. But looking at the rusty door ring lying somewhere in the distance, you can be sure that there is no one in the building after all.

But no, the house has an owner. Old Jacob Carlisle hasn't had a visitor in years. His house has such an ominous atmosphere that even a child's laughter sounds very unnatural there. Although it is much easier to believe that there is no child in the house, but a ghost laughing, than it is to believe that some carefree kid is jumping up and down the stairs.

Before you ask the old man any questions, hand him a bundle of firewood. True, when you go down to the basement for it, you'll find some unnaturalness of what's going on and suddenly realize that you can't get out. But no, this is just a temporary panic. In fact, you will quickly figure out how to leave the basement, especially since the lock is hanging on your side and not on the outside for some reason. Note the little hamster in the washing machine. Take the rodent with you, it will prove very useful.

Look around and slowly move out of the basement, there is nothing to sit there. I wonder where the old man has gone Why isn't he worried about you disappearing? Has he forgotten that you even existed? You want to escape, but you can't until you've solved all the mysteries of the house. Carlisle left you a note telling you to look for him in the library, so you have to go there. That's probably where all the answers are.
