Introduced the Arcanist class for The Elder Scrolls Online

The next chapter of The Elder Scrolls Online story, dubbed Necrom and announced last month, will bring not only adventure, but also a new class of characters - the Arcanist. Features of this hero the developers revealed during a recent IGN Fan Fest 2023 event. And although the update will not be released soon, fans are waiting for it on June 5 on the PC and the 20th on consoles, the information presented to the public is already causing interest.

The Necrom expansion will contain 30 hours of story quests and different locations, including Telvanni Island in the vastness of Morrowind, as well as a couple of PvE dungeons for four. But the main innovation of this update will be, of course, the Arcanist, aka rune master. The class will be the seventh in the game. Its distinctive features - the combination of magic and combat skills, which should appeal to newcomers who are hesitant to choose a character for the debut.

There is also a mechanic Crux, which allows you to save a special energy to activate powerful attacks. During the presentation, the public was clearly shown some of the character's techniques. For example, he will be able to release a burning all in its path beam Fate Carver. Arcanist also promises to add three branches of class skills, which will make him a versatile fighter.
