A major patch for The Elder Scrolls Online will be released only in October, but some of its details have been announced today. MMORPG authors promise to add more companions to the game, change the rules of PvP battles, return the tutorial story chapter and improve rewards. More details will appear in the developers' blogs, but for now we tell you about what we know so far.

The 44th update of The Elder Scrolls Online: what's in it?

First - news for those who like fast team fights in Battlegrounds mode. With the release of the update, three-way battles will be a thing of the past - only 4-on-4 and 8 vs. 8 battles will remain. However, Bethesda employees don't rule out that they will return three-team matches in the future. But for PvP added several maps and unique reinforcements (available only in competitions of large squads). In campaigns heroes will need the help of companions, available in the virtual store for crowns. Tanlorin is a High Elf, which gives a head start on lock picking and reduces the likelihood of lockpick breakage. Kajit Zerith-war, in turn, increases the value of loot throughout Tamriel.

Also update number 44 will restore the chain of tutorial missions to make it easier for new gamers to get used to the world of the game. Item upgrades will become available in the Imperial City - useful for those who decide to challenge Daedra or characters under the control of other users. And along with this, the rewards will also increase - prizes will be available for completing short campaigns from the "Golden Pursuit" series. A full list of changes will appear later, but in the meantime, TESO fans have been informed that the patch will be released on October 28 for PC and November 13 for consoles.
