Trick or Treat in Neverwinter Online
The creators of the popular MMORPG Neverwinter Online are calling on all fun-lovers to split into supporters of one of three factions to complete daily tasks and earn prizes. You can join the "Deep Dwellers" faction, the Skeleton's team, or the Headless Horseman's army. The rewards depend on the chosen side. Since this event has already become an annual tradition, the Ark Games publishing team doesn't go into much detail, but those taking part in the "Masquerade of Liars" for the first time should familiarize themselves with the rules and restrictions of this event in advance.
What to do at the "Masquerade of Liars" in Neverwinter Online?
Heroes will have to collect sweets and complete quests, but these adventures will last until the fifth day of next month. Gamers are free to join the "Cutthroats", the "Porcelain Patricians", or the "Deep Dwellers", receiving a mark of affiliation with one of the factions. It will no longer be possible to change your decision in the middle of the event, and the bonuses earned for completing tasks will apply to the player's entire account, so the developers advise making a considered choice. As a reward, you can get masks, head illusions, and special tokens that can easily be exchanged for something useful.
As for the activities themselves, they boil down to regular daily missions and collecting sweets from the ghosts that will populate the map until the end of the "Masquerade of Liars". Another way to get a sweet is to defeat an opponent in battle and take it as one of the trophies. But in any case, the festival mask will come in handy — since it occupies an equipment slot, heroes will have to sacrifice some effects, including defense. However, the faction that wins after the points are tallied will be generously rewarded, and the losers won't lose out either — they will receive consolation tokens.
