Digital Extremes employees have once again held their annual event dedicated to the company's games. The main announcements have been made — it's time to sum up the results. Gamers were shown footage of the upcoming expansion The Old Peace for Warframe, where characters will encounter a new enemy, as well as a pre-alpha video of the action RPG Soulframe, inspired by the works of Hidetaka Miyazaki. At the same time, registration for participation in testing was opened — you can submit your details until tomorrow morning. The famous MMO action game will receive a story expansion called The Old Peace this year, the gameplay of which can be seen in the trailer. The story in this DLC is divided into the main storyline and the «Devil's Triad». It transports gamers to the era of the unification of the Sentient and Orokin, with the heroes having to battle the Dax-Anarchists. No exact release date for the story arc has been announced yet, but it's already known that the next chapter of the scenario, titled «Tau», will be released in 2026. New cosmetic skins and protoframes have become available in the game, with more customization options to come with the expansion's release.

Developers also shared details about Soulframe — their Dark Souls-style project. A short teaser showcases the combat system with active use of spells and several game characters, including the villain Wasteland Sorcerer. Fans of Digital Extremes' work who manage to register on the official website and gain access will be able to try out the action RPG firsthand — in the form of a preliminary alpha version subtitled Prelude. It's too early to talk about the projects entering the final stretch, and the release date for this fantasy Action RPG remains a closely guarded secret by its creators.
