The new character class will become available in Lost Ark

The developers of the Russian version of the popular MMORPG Lost Ark have announced an upcoming addition to the Warrior archetype, where an exclusively female character class will appear by the end of August. The Templar is a native of the harsh northern regions. She possesses three basic abilities and consumes a resource called «Faith» in battle. She belongs to the attacking heroes, meaning her main skills are aimed at dealing as much damage as possible to enemies. But will she take a prominent place among the other inhabitants of Arkesia?

The heroine's path was guided by the Priests of Dawn, who dwell in the North. She received the power of the Primordial Light and the blessing of Rufion, after which she decided to become a protector of the weak and oppressed. The maiden fights only at close range—her arsenal includes no ranged attacks or spells. The main techniques among her skills are Blade of Light, Sword of Virtue, and Shield of Faith. There is also a special gauge that fills during battle—once enough faith is accumulated, a special skill can be activated by pressing the Z key. This will result in area-of-effect damage. Faith can be replenished in two ways—by dealing damage to enemies (including automatically) and simply by participating in combat.

Another interesting skill is self-healing. To use it, the X key must be pressed—as a result, both the heroine herself and her closest allies within a 24-meter radius will receive health points from the Primordial Light. Character progression through the A.R.K. system appears quite diverse: there are four stages in total, each with two branches. Among the awakening abilities are Sacrament and Revelation. The first grants the entire party a 10-second enhancement, while the second strengthens an attack using energy. Finally, two legendary appearances will become available—«Sanguia Castissima» (white) and «Umbra Dolorum» (black).
