The Thieves Guild returns in The Elder Scrolls Online

On July 8, Bethesda's internal studio staff will add seasonal content to the MMORPG set in the 'Elder Scrolls' universe, the main part of which will be the continuation of the Thieves Guild storyline. All scenarios and quests of the update will remain relevant until October 21. Gamers will be able to complete quests for a mysterious organization that has settled in Glenumbra and collect rewards, including a special type of housing — the Bandit's Refuge. We will tell you more about what awaits fans of the game The Elder Scrolls Online this month.

How will TESO change with the return of the Thieves Guild?

To an outside observer, Glenumbra's criminal underworld may seem monolithic, but in reality, three rival gangs operate in the neighborhoods at night: 'House Ménant', 'Street Hawks', and 'Road Oath'. In addition, all these groups are forced to fight the Cartel, which has claimed rights to Daggerfall. As is traditional for the series, Quen serves as the guide to the world of new adventures, and she still has to deal with an overly vigilant captain of the Lion Guard. In other words, the DLC's story will begin with helping Quen, and then the heroes are free to choose which gang to join and what tasks to undertake — no matter what, activity is rewarded with prizes. The finale of the addition ultimately implies the unification of the factions for common interests.

Among the rewards are special thief items and outfits, not to mention stolen trophies and fees for successfully completed jobs. The most dexterous gentlemen of fortune will be able to collect the fragments necessary to furnish the Bandit's Refuge. This is a new type of housing, styled to match the entire addition. Here you will also be able to store all your loot. Other changes in Daggerfall will be less large-scale: in particular, the bank will now be served by two bankers, and new landscape details will appear in the area from the eighth of this month.
