Is there life in the desert? Crossout Update
Not far off is the 0.13.90 patch for the car action game Crossout, in which you can build yourself an armored vehicle and fight with other players in spacious arenas. The update, according to the developers, is timed to coincide with the return of the "Steel Championship" to the Badlands. But the biggest changes are waiting for the classic and famous map "Sand Valley". Let's talk about it in more detail.
What has been changed on the map?
It's easier to say what hasn't been touched. The developers have reworked the location thoroughly, replacing objects, polygons and individual mechanics. And the designers largely relied on the opinion of gamers, so that the public should like the innovations. First of all, in the "Sandy Valley" architecture was transformed: the bases are now farther away from each other, so that the teams were not shooting from the start, and went to the convergence to the center of the map. There are more details of the terrain, shelters - so the battles feel more interesting.
On the other hand, the developers cleaned the map from some small objects, which previously hindered the maneuvering during the collision of the teams. And important for the gameplay objects became more visible - for example, the height of rocks near the roads was increased by ten meters, the roads themselves expanded, instead of the sunk into the sand there was an abandoned construction equipment, which is easier to notice from afar and use as a shelter. Finally, the designers changed the pitch of the landscape grid to improve movement on the map.
