What are the Crossout authors preparing for Halloween?
Targem Games staff have made several important announcements, among which is the news of the return of the «Wild Hunt» brawl (it will, however, end on October 22), and plans for content releases through the end of the month. Crossout users are in for a Halloween-related surprise: soon they’ll be able to see altered designs for maps, menu backgrounds, and homemade armored vehicles. A themed event, which the developers themselves call scary, has also been promised. Here’s what is known so far.
Expected changes in Crossout by the end of October

Preparation of the Wastes and the Valley is already in full swing, but the results of the work will be shown to the public later. The design changes will be not only visual, with giant pumpkins and spiders on buildings, but also auditory. And to the set of effects the developers will add two brawls. The first of them resembles «Spring Mayhem»: it also has a rich selection of hardware, and you still need to capture points on spacious maps, but there will be a small nuance — walking robots capable of disabling any vehicle with a single touch. In the second mode, four players will have to start generators in the middle of a fog-shrouded city. Shooting will be forbidden in this battle, but everyone will have to hide from the monster in the streets. A very unusual match format for an online shooter.
As for the design, even the shell casings will turn into candies by the end of the month. Explosions will also be changed, including the effects of self-destruction, ghosts will fly over the battlefield, and bugs will crawl across players’ screens. The Shaman’s Cauldron will be unusual this year: in it, gamers will be able to use not only standard blueprints, but also assemble items that cannot be crafted under other conditions.
