Lost Ark developers announce January update
The authors of the Russian version of the MMORPG Lost Ark have announced the release of a major update on January 21st titled «Dark Knight». It will feature battles against a boss named Kamen in extreme mode, the «Nukman's Moon» collection, as well as various events with prizes and gifts. As we can see, the Kazeros raids are being replaced by new challenges — and only the bravest will overcome them. Or at least those who have reached a high equipment level. Let's tell you more about what players should prepare for.
«Dark Knight» in Lost Ark — what will players be doing?

Across all of Akrasia at the end of the month, scattered fragments of an artificial moon will appear, which was once placed in the sky by Nukman — one of the four elders of Reymark. But the mage never thought that his creation would one day fall to earth and shatter, which the forces of evil would immediately take advantage of. The heroes must restore the celestial body by collecting it piece by piece and exploring the entire map — collecting the collection will be the main activity of the upcoming update. However, other tasks are also promised, the completion of which will help in battles and assist in adventures, as the rewards include resources, weapons, artifacts, and unique quest items.
Extreme mode raid «Kamen», called by the developers a test of the limits of possibilities, will unfold in several stages and last until March 11, 2026. Access to the battle with the Lord of Darkness will be granted to heroes who have developed their equipment to level 1700 and above, and they will have to go through four phases — each subsequent one being more difficult than the previous one. The dungeon is designed for groups, not solo players, and it will feature the ability to parry the boss's attacks. As a reward, players will be able to obtain a legendary card, the Alfons Vedic IV deck, a shard of darkness, chests with decorations, gold, and runic chests. It is also reported that shards of darkness can be exchanged for useful items from merchants.
