Welcome to your own mansion! It's a bit gloomy, really: antique furniture, faded tapestries, and antique portraits. You've inherited it from your uncle. And the former owner, it seems, was not particularly keen on comfort and a change of interior..

As a new owner, we advise you to take a good look around. Speak to the butler first, perhaps he can give you a tour Alas, no. The old man has politely declined your request on the grounds that there is work to be done in the garden. It remains only to explore the mansion on your own... And what is this diabolical obsession? Suddenly, right in front of you, one of the antique portraits of the bride and groom catches fire, and out of the fire appears the ghost of a wonderful woman. In the same instant, everything went back to normal, as if nothing had happened. You would have thought you were imagining it all, if it hadn't been for a part of the burnt-out canvas. The house, as it turned out, had a surprise!

Solve the mystery of the fiery ghost and then you'll probably be able to free the mansion from the evil, because living in a haunted house is unimaginable! It seems that someone is also interested in your outcome: not without reason there are shabby newspaper clippings scattered all over the house. The mysterious helper wants to tell you a story that happened to your relative in the past... Looking at the photo from the old newspaper, you can immediately see the presence of similar features. It's a strange resemblance. And you don't seem to like it very much..

Go through the game in one of three modes. If you like using the "Tip" and "Skip" buttons, choose the easy mode. If you are more accustomed to rely only on yourself, and are ready to ponder on logical problems, choose the difficult mode. If you choose death mode be prepared for the fact that your character may leave the scene without finishing the game. Choose one that suits your tastes, and begin the game as soon as possible, because incredible events are waiting for you behind the fiery door of an ancient mansion!
