You'll need both physical strength and intelligence. When you get some gold and building materials, you'll need new mines, farms and workshops to build valuable buildings for further resupply

You'll get rewards and coins for your successes, which can be exchanged for building improvements. Also, over time, bonuses will be available to speed up the work process. For example, make the equipment in the mines work twice as fast or speed up the workers themselves.

You not only have to get the resources, but also to defeat the minotaurs and other evil creatures that will interfere with your mission. Don't forget that the main task is to return the children to their true home, Olympus.
