"Breach" is coming to Apex Legends
Only Respawn studio presented a collaboration of its "battle royale" Apex Legends with the Cyberpunk 2077 universe, as the developers took on the next expansion. In "Breach" gamers will get acquainted with the changed skills of Bloodhound, addition to one of the maps of terrain inspired by the Viking theme, fresh modifications of guns and discussion of the game development plans. The star of the DLC will be Bloodhound — an already known legend will be made even more dangerous thanks to the increased range of white ravens (acting as drones for reconnaissance), instant scanning and a device that masks the entire squad for 12 seconds. The characters won't become completely invisible from this, but it will still be difficult to notice them. Such a set of techniques, complemented by the user's personal skill, will make the hunter an unsurpassed master of tracking the target, but to fully unlock this potential, good team coordination will be needed.
Another important change awaits on the "World's Edge" map, where idols of Scandinavian gods, Viking household items and houses stylized as antiquity are now placed. In addition, the sky above this location will be illuminated by the northern lights from time to time. If before landing you prefer to choose a point of interest in advance, you should pay attention to "Climatizer", "Camp" and "Tree Settlement" — there will be something to profit from in the early stages of the battle. However, the previous interesting landing zones haven't gone anywhere either.
Starting next month, special weapon mods will appear in matches — corrupted. In addition to positive effects, they also give a negative one, reducing one of the gun's characteristics. Heroes will install such attachments at their own risk. The Bloodhound improvement marks the beginning of season 30, but the developers are already thinking about adjustments to the ranked mode in the 31st and 32nd. Moreover, in 2027, according to official data, the public will be shown a completely new legend.
