Mistress of the Seas: the "British" update of World of Warships

The developers of the popular multiplayer action game about warships presented a patch 0.11.6, dedicated to British battleships of the 20th century. Also changes affected the interface, artificial intelligence bots, rewards for helping shipyards, ranked battles and other aspects of World of Warships. Technical work on the servers to install the update is scheduled for July 13 - let's see what awaits us.

What will change in World of Warships in the summer

Fans of huge battleships will get eight British ships at once: Indefatigable, Queen Mary, Tiger, Renown, Rooke, Hawke, Dunkan and St. Vincent. All of them, as is customary in the game, are recreated from real specimens or designs. But what unites these models is also the tactics: all battleships are designed to strike at short and medium range, use armor-piercing charges with short cocking, maneuvering torpedoes and standard fragmentation shells. "Afterburner" at level five makes even such a large vessel nimble, and "Repair Team" minimizes the damage it takes.

The Titans of Industry event, which runs from July 13 to August 10, will launch a competition of three English shipyards-Elswick, Chatham and Clydebank. French cruisers have appeared in the development tree, including the super-heavy Cherbourg, equipped with large-caliber guns. Also in patch 0.11.6 the appearance and economic bonuses of ships are separated, and bots have learned to collide with each other or islands less frequently. Finally, ranked battles, which will run from July 13 through October 5, have been reduced to a common formula: 6x6 battles and only on X-level ships.
