It's about time: a major update for World of Warcraft

The developers of World of Warcraft: Shadowlands have announced a patch number 9.2.5. Changes on this scale have not been seen in the game for a long time: it includes new stories, characters, locations, and inter-faction mechanics. Yes, the heroes of the eternally warring Horde and Alliance will now be able to fight at the same time in common groups. Let's talk more about these and other features of the update.

What will change in World of Warcraft: Shadowlands this summer?

First of all, it is worth discussing the details of inter-faction interaction. After the release of the patch, any user will be able to create a group with members of a hostile camp, if they are in the list of his friends in Battle.net. Such a squad will be available to all group activities, including raids and battles in arenas. However, there are exceptions in the form of some dungeons and guilds, which remain on the previous rules - the Horde and Alliance do not mix in them. Blizzard designers have worked on other aspects of the project: changed the achievements, corrected the classes of Death Knight and Blackthorn, and added an epochal mode for inter-faction raids in the "Tomb of the Eternal".

For PvP battles (player vs. player), the patch adds the Mystery Mound arena. In addition, some classes will receive a chain of tasks. To begin their implementation, blood elves 60 level should go to Oribos and meet Liadrin, and dwarves from the clan of the Black Iron - to reach level 50 and talk with Turgaden. Officially, update 9.2.5 will be released on World of Warcraft: Shadowlands servers on June 1, 2022.
