"Eternity's End" will set the record straight in World of Warcraft: Shadowlands
The final story update for Shadowlands was announced back in the fall - in November 2021. But only now the developers of WoW have announced the "Eternity's End" release date and shared some details about the story. This chapter will conclude the second season of the add-on, and the pranks of Zovaal the Jailer, as the authors of the script promise, will be put to an end. Let's break down what is known about the battle with the forces of evil so far.
What was announced in the update
In "Eternity's End", a new area of World of Warcraft, Zereth Mortis, where the Ancients created afterworlds and practiced experiments on nature, awaits us. This place is inhabited by creatures called Automes, whose runes will play an important role in the story. And Prisoner Zovaal, the main antagonist of Shadowlands, is trying to get hold of the secrets stored here in order to change reality. So the player-controlled characters need to stop him. How everything will end, we'll know after February 23, because that is the release date of the update.
According to the published plans of the developers, February 23 will end the current season of PvP-battles, after which the results will be summed up in the tables of ratings. However, the prizes for participation in PvP will receive all who will return to the location for battles against other players. Also, on February 23 the "Epoch Mode" events will come to an end - a break between seasons will last a week, during which the ratings will again be fixed. However, everyone will be able to pass the same dungeons in "Epochal+" mode. As you know, along with the release of "Eternity's End" WoW users will have access to new lands, characters, equipment and other content.
