World of Warcraft: Forever has finally been released

Blizzard Entertainment has completed its preparations and released a new edition of the most famous MMORPG. The developers present the Forever version as «the very same WoW that we lost long ago but have found once more». Here, heroes find themselves in the well-known Azeroth with its races, the Horde and the Alliance, only instead of switching to The Burning Crusade content, gamers will have to uncover the classic storylines of the original. Nevertheless, there was also room for some innovations.

As already mentioned, the Blizzard staff left Azeroth as it was, but expanded its borders somewhat. Now the map will make it possible to visit the flying Zephyris Isle, the slopes of Mount Hyjal, and Forest Riverlands in the east of the fantastical continent. In these locations, it is now possible to complete more than a thousand new quests, descend into dungeons never seen before, and, on top of that, uncover hundreds of mysteries. Mounts created specifically for this version of the game will help with moving across the terrain. It is also worth paying attention to the Skyborn race, whose history is closely tied to Zephyris.

But that is not all. The authors of the MMORPG have abandoned the traditional binding of races to classes — lovers of combining the incompatible have gained new possibilities. Unusual heroes will surely come in handy in the more challenging 20-player PvE raids. Among the technical innovations, it is worth noting the improved graphical effects, especially the lighting. At the same time, users should know that, due to the influx of players eager to check out the new release, the WoW servers may currently be unstable.
