Windrose coming soon to Steam

There are a great many pirate games. On April 14, another representative of this noble genre will join their ranks. In this PvE adventure with cooperative mode, a team of friends will sail tropical seas under sail, discover new islands, build bases on them, search for resources and treasures, while fighting enemies controlled by artificial intelligence. And the most interesting thing about Windrose is that it's being made by developers from Uzbekistan.

The free demo version, available for download on Steam, has received many positive reviews, so despite its exotic origin, the new game is worth attention from pirate theme lovers. The action takes place in a large open world which is an ocean with archipelagos. Sailing ships armed with cannons cruise the waves. Most of these ships are controlled by AI, but a player's hero can also take the helm, and not alone, but with a team of comrades. The gameplay is based on the genre's typical formula: building, crafting, survival - this is how the Uzbek developers present their debut project.

Pieces of land are full of dungeons and secrets - nothing prevents you from searching for treasures, as in Robert Stevenson's famous novel. At the same time, biomes are procedurally generated. Among the enemies there are both ordinary bandits and bosses, as well as monsters - following the example of «Pirates of the Caribbean». Land and sea battles are complemented by base building mechanics and a rich selection of 18th century sailing ships. And all this is united by the main story. The game is currently available as a demo, but it can already be added to your wishlist, and from the 14th of this month it will be available for purchase.
